Our vision at Tea on the Tiber was to recreate the quiet elegance and refinement of a grand English Tea parlor. As you sip your tea you can imagine ladies and gentlemen of a bygone era in their afternoon finery enjoying the comfort and camaraderie of friends. Come in and join us for an afternoon of fine teas and traditional English fare.

Each area of our tea room is unique. We feature a grand parlor, sunroom, squire's office and weather permitting, a deck overlooking the Tiber River. We look forward to accommodating you in a small intimate gathering or providing the perfect setting for your bridal or baby shower, birthday party or special event. Whatever your preference, we offer an afternoon to remember at our Afternoon Teas.

A little bit about how we started . . .
While remodeling after the fire in Ellicott City in 1999 the proprietors of The Source Unlimited decided to incorporate a one room tea parlor into their existing interior design business. This was their way to offer their clients refreshments while browsing through wallpapers and fabrics or while meeting with one of the designers. As a result Tea on the Tiber has grown to encompass four rooms of our historic building. Visitors to the tearoom who find themselves inspired by the elegance and charm of their surroundings should visit the upper level of our tea room where The Source Unlimited now resides. The Source Unlimited offers a full range of interior design services to meet any homeowner's needs.

After your tea, you will want to browse our Tea Cellar Gift Shop located on the lower level of our tearoom. We offer delicious loose teas, tea related treasures and gift certificates.
